Kemanche
The kemanche is a traditional stringed instrument with a long history, originating in Persian culture. It is played using a small bow that moves back and forth, and the strings, usually tuned in fourths, are often made of gut or metal. This gives the kemanche a unique sound that is deep, melancholic and exceptionally expressive. The instrument plays a significant role in Persian, Turkish, Azerbaijani, Kurdish and other Middle Eastern musical traditions.
Fidel Płocka
A traditional Polish stringed instrument that originates from the Mazovia region, specifically from the town of Płock, where it was discovered. It is similar in shape to a violin, but is slightly larger. It is played using the fingernail technique.
Suka Biłgorajska
An old Polish stringed musical instrument originating from the Lublin region. As with the fidel płocka it is played using the fingernail technique, i.e. the strings are plucked not by pressing down from above, but by touching them sideways with the fingernail.
Violin

Gheychack
The gheychak, also known as the gheychak-e shahrzoori, is a traditional Iranian stringed instrument with a distinctive sound. The gheychak is not only popular in Iranian folk music, but also plays a significant role in the country’s classical and folk music, adding richness and a distinctive flavour to many musical pieces.
Kobyz
The kobyz is a traditional stringed instrument from Kazakhstan, resembling a bow with a single string. It is played with a bow, and its sound is distinctive and emotive. It has played a significant role in ceremonies and festivals within Kazakh culture for centuries. It remains a feature of both folk and classical music in Kazakhstan.
Ravanhastam
The Ravanahastam is a traditional Hindu musical instrument.It is made of wood and is shaped like a long rod, with a metal or wooden protrusion at one end, which is used to produce sound by plucking.It plays an important role in Indian classical music and is often used in temple ceremonies and religious processions.
